What We Do & How We Do It

Services built around how fire actually behaves.

Every service we deliver is informed by real-world fire behavior, WUI science, and hands-on operational experience.

Service 01

Vegetation Management & Fuel Reduction

Dense vegetation acts as a fuel highway connecting ground-level fire to the crown and from your neighbor's property to yours. We break that connection through systematic, targeted vegetation management.

  • Selective tree thinning to reduce crown-to-crown contact
  • Ladder fuel removal low branches, brush, and dense undergrowth
  • Deadwood and snag removal throughout the property
  • Brush cutting and clearing at ground level
  • Strategic spacing improvements between vegetation clusters
Ladder fuels are the mechanism by which a low-intensity ground fire escalates into a crown fire that reaches your structure. Removing them is one of the highest-impact steps a homeowner can take.

Service 02

Defensible Space Creation

Defensible space is a managed buffer structured in zones, each with a specific purpose that slows fire's approach, reduces ember accumulation, and gives your home a fighting chance.

  • Zone assessment and mapping specific to your property
  • Zone 0 non-combustible buffer establishment directly around the structure
  • Zone 1 lean, clean, and green maintenance within 30 feet
  • Zone 2 strategic fuel reduction from 30 to 100 feet
  • Ongoing maintenance planning and seasonal upkeep guidance
Defensible space does not mean stripped land. It means vegetation that is managed, spaced, and maintained to deny fire the fuel it needs to intensify as it approaches your home.

The Three Zones

Zone 0 Ember-Resistant Zone
0–5 feet from structure
Zone 1 Lean, Clean & Green
5–30 feet from structure
Zone 2 Reduced Fuel Load
30–100 feet from structure

Each zone plays a distinct role in slowing fire, reducing heat intensity, and preventing structural ignition.

Service 03

Home Hardening

The structure itself is often the last line of defense and frequently the most overlooked. Home hardening addresses the areas where ember accumulation is most likely to cause ignition, making your structure more resilient from the outside in.

  • Removal and relocation of combustible materials adjacent to the structure
  • Non-combustible zone creation in the immediate perimeter (Zone 0)
  • Removal or relocation of firewood piles and flammable storage
  • Gravel or rock installation in critical perimeter areas
  • Identification of ember accumulation points and vulnerability assessment
The zone within 0–5 feet of your home is where ember accumulation is most dangerous. A single ember landing in debris against your foundation can ignite a total loss. This area demands non-combustible treatment.

Property Cleanup & Haul-Off

Mitigation is not complete until the cleared material is gone. Piles of cut brush and felled limbs are still fuel which is why every project includes professional removal and haul-off of all debris.

  • Full removal of all cleared vegetation and debris
  • Clean site condition upon project completion. No piles left behind
  • No burning on-site all material is hauled off the property
  • Property left safe, clean, and compliant
Every project ends the same way: clean. What we clear, we haul. You receive a property that is not only safer it looks that way too.
